Lisa S. Wagman, CP has been a practicing paralegal in New Jersey since 1980 and has extensive litigation expertise in the areas of product liability, medical negligence, personal injury, class actions, mass torts and wrongful death, having represented both plaintiffs and defendants over the past 28 years. She earned her associate degree in Paralegal Technology in 1983 and earned the designation of Certified Paralegal, “CP”, in 1985 through the National Association of Legal Assistants. Ms. Wagman is very passionate about the paralegal profession, has been actively involved in the education and advancement of paralegals in New Jersey, lectured for American Trial Lawyers Association of New Jersey, Institute for Continuing Legal Education, South Jersey Paralegal Association, Garden State Paralegal Convention and numerous colleges throughout the tri-state area. In addition to her extensive paralegal background, Ms.Wagman is a fully trained and experienced Social Security Disability Representative-Advocate. While Ms. Wagman specializes in disability claims for orthopedic, psychological, cardiovascular, neurologic, oncologic and respiratory conditions, she offers efficient and thorough claims processing for all impairments. She understands the overwhelming nature of the Social Security claims process and provides support and guidance to claimants to help them achieve the quickest award possible with the least amount of stress along the way. Ms. Wagman has authored many articles, sat on several college advisory boards for paralegal/nurse paralegal programs and has created and co-chaired several seminars and conventions. She is past-president of the South Jersey Paralegal Association and is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Association of Trial Lawyers of New Jersey, New Jersey State Bar Association, National Federation of Paralegal Associations, National Association of Legal Assistants, New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners, U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce, The International Alliance for Women, National Association of Disability Representatives, International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals and the American Association of People with Disabilities. |
