ex-husband is 52 years of age and has never paid any court ordered child support to us. he is now on ssi disabilty my question is would this be worth us putting in a claim againt his ssi payments?

I would recommend that you speak with an attorney in your state regarding actual child support laws.

However, as to Supplemental Security Income, since your ex-husband has already been granted SSI benefits, you should be able to now file separate claims for each child under your ex-husband's active SSI claim. Of course, the children must be his natural or legally adopted children and must be under the age of 18.

havent received my checks for me and my daughter j 4 Years, 2 Months ago  
my name is christeena and me and my daughter jacqueline have not received our checks for the 3rd of this month, so i was wonder if they got mailed out are got lost . my rent is now passed do if someone could let me know my email address is the checks are from the death of my husband and jacqueline father his name is allan his social is mine is i was borned in jacqueline was borned in allan was in please email with some news please

Christeena: This is not the Social Security Administration. You must call your local Social Security office to find out the status of your late checks if you are receiving survivor's benefits. If you have a checking or savings account, you can ask Social Security to automatically deposit your benefits every month into your account. This way, you do not have to wait and worry about receiving your checks. I recommend you do this as soon as possible.

Most importantly, I have edited your post to remove your last names, your email address and your social security numbers. Please be careful [i]never[/i] to provide this information on the internet in the future for security reasons. I hope you are able to resolve your late check issue. Thank you for your communcation.
