Lisa Wagman In order to expedite a hearing before the Administrative Law Judge, you would need to send a letter to the chief judge at your local Office of Hearings and Appeals requesting an expedited hearing. You would need to explain to the chief judge the urgency of your situation. You will need to explain in detail the reason for the expedited request (such as whether or not you are in a hardship situation, if you are in a life and death situation, if you are in dire need of medical coverage, etc.) The decision to grant you an expedited hearing is in the hands of the judge.
