Lisa Wagman It is Social Security's position that VA decisions are not binding upon them. Social Security and VA have very different standards and criteria for approving disability claims.



But do not give up on your Social Security claim since you were denied. It is best to seek the advice of an experienced Social Security disability representative to determine if your case is viable and should be appealed.
